FAQ

Questions league organisers normally ask.

Do players need to log into scoring tablets?

No. Every tablet can open the same /pair page. The organiser generates a short one-time code for the board, enters it on the tablet once and the device stays board-bound until revoked or re-paired.

Are handicaps compulsory?

No. Standard competition needs no handicap setup. Average-band and fixed handicap modes are optional features that can be enabled only for the divisions or competitions that need them.

How complicated is the live scorer?

The standard tablet scorer is intentionally simple: enter the visit total using large number buttons and press Enter Score. When the visit checks out, choose whether the winning visit used 1, 2 or 3 darts.

Can a player play in more than one division?

Yes. Division membership and statistics are separate, so participation in one division does not merge that division's averages into another.

Can we run one-night tournaments?

Yes. Standalone tournaments do not require a league season and use the same boards, markers, live scoring and player records.

What happens with walkovers?

The winner receives the competition outcome but OcheControl does not invent thrown legs, averages, checkouts or 180s.

Can spectators follow games live?

Yes, when the organiser enables public live scoring. The league site shows live matches, board and marker information, while the spectator page remains read-only.

Can we use our own league domain and sponsors?

Pro-level white-label controls include league branding, sponsor placements and custom-domain support.
